  1. The project is in full production mode for the interior finishes installation. The hotel room wall covering, paint, doors, carpet, tile and kitchens are being completed first. We will then move on to the public spaces, they are on schedule to start later this year. The elevators are nearly operational so that we can remove the exterior material hoist and fully close up the building. The roof and exterior waterproofing is installed and we have a mostly weatherproof building, it is anticipated to be completely weather tight by the end of November. The tower crane was removed and the slab block-outs have been filled in. The ground level storefront glazing started and is progressing around the building from the Southwest Corner to the Northeast Corner. The pool shotcrete is placed and the rough in for the equipment is complete.

  2. It may seem like a simple part of the overall construction process, but getting the foundation right is incredibly important. The biggest reason for this is that any mistakes you make in the foundation will only get worse as you go up. It’s known as compounding defects and it means that mistakes grow.
