    MARCH 28, 2012 - COURTYARD MARRIOTT / RESIDENCE INN LAUNCHING EVENT

    A project that officials say will further revitalize the area, create thousands of jobs, generate millions in revnue for the city ans serve as a significant boon to convention business.

    As special guests of American Life, Inc., Marriott International's Chairman and CEO Bill Marriott and CEO-elect Arne Sorenson, AEG's Tim Leikewe, Mayor of LA Antonio Villaraigosa, Councilmember Jan Perry and other dignitaries convened at a special event to launch the highly anticipated new hotel development.

    Countruction is expected to begin in spring 2012, with grand opening slated for summer 2014.
