May 9th, 2014 the Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn Downtown Los Angeles, L.A. LIVE Project received a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Los Angeles. That means the public can go into the building and that it is complete and ready for operation. Marriott Operations has assumed control of the building and they are working toward an opening date of May 29th to the public. We are completing some final punch list items (small scratches/minor trade damage) and touching up the building; We are excited about the prospects of the Hotels future performance. The interior designers are putting their last touches on the knick-knacks as we clean and polish everything. We are looking forward to welcoming and showing all the Investors the final product at the June 21st event.
